A: All of our whipped tallow balms are deeply hydrating and easily absorbed across the skin's natural barrier. Blue Balm harnesses the properties of blue tansy oil, which many people find effective on rashes as well as in anti-aging skincare.
Q: Who should not use this product?
A: While this product is natural, and diluted blue tansy oil is considered safe for most people, there are mixed opinions on its use during pregnancy. I would suggest either Bee Balm or Beauty Balm to pregnant women looking for a hydrating, bump-friendly balm.
Q: Will this balm help with eczema?
A: The anti-inflammatory properties of blue tansy oil, plus the hydrating and nourishing properties of the whipped tallow, make Blue Balm the balm of choice for those looking for something to help specifically with eczema and inflammatory issues. I have had several customers state that this really helps them with these issues! That said, different skin rashes have different levels of severity and different causes. It is not a guaranteed solution, but I do hope it helps you!
Q: How long will my balm last?
A: Our whipped tallow balms can last for up to 1 year from the purchase date when kept in room temperature or cooler settings, out of direct heat.
Q: Do I need to refrigerate my balm?
A: You do not need to refrigerate your balm, though you can if you want it to be cooling/last longer. Temperature-wise, you just don't want whipped tallow balms to get too hot (85 degrees or hotter) and melt! This will affect texture and shelf-life.
Q: How fresh are your balms?
A: I craft my balms in small-batches, as needed, before putting them up for sale locally and on my Etsy shop to ensure you get maximum shelf-live out of your purchase.

I'm glad I chose to get both tallow balms. The ingredients are all-natural (free from all the things terrible for your skin) with just a few simple ingredients! The scent is so clean and soft. This is what usually gets me... they are normally overpowering. Not these. Soft and subtle. Perfect! And .... the most important aspect, the moisturizing.
